Do I need to do anything?

Just one thing: renew your Radon Shield™ subscription each year. Your mitigator installs the EcoGuard on mitigation day and connects it to your Wi-Fi, and you'll get a monthly report by email.

Does the monitor show my radon level?

Not on the device. It has a small green, yellow or red status light. Your readings go to your mitigator, and you get a clear monthly summary.

What happens if my radon goes up?

Your mitigator gets an alert and looks into it. Many mitigators also offer extended warranty and service plans alongside Radon Shield™, so check with your local mitigator about next steps.

Can I keep using my own radon monitor?

Yes. Your monitor has done its job: it found the high levels in your home and got you to call in the professionals. Now let your C-NRPP certified pro handle the monitoring, and breathe easy knowing they're watching. Use your own monitor to help friends and family test their homes.

What does it cost?

Twelve months of monitoring are included with your mitigation. After that, you renew once a year. Your mitigator sets the price, so ask them for details, including any maintenance upgrades.

What if I don't renew?

Your radon system keeps working. Your mitigator collects the monitor, and monitoring and your guarantee end. Check with your mitigator, as services can vary from one mitigator to another.
